At Shrewsbury Dental Associates & Shrewsbury Kids, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality, comprehensive dental care services and patient care for Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas. Dr. Eric Seidel
Dr. Seidel earned his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Grove City College and was a member of the rugby team. He graduated in 2003 from Temple University School of Dentistry where he was among the top of his class, earning induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Prior to entering private practice, he elected to complete a one year dental residency program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in his hometown of Reading, PA helping to treat the underserved members of our community. He has done postgraduate training at the Pankey Institute and done extensive training in Invisalign and laser dentistry.
He is a Top 1% Platinum Plus Invisalign provider. He is a firm believer in lifelong learning and has pursued additional training in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy and restorative dentistry.
He is a huge proponent of dental technology and introduced Invisalign, digital scanning and laser dentistry into the practice.
He is a resident of Lake Heritage where he lives with his wife Jennifer, their dog Abby and their four children. He is an avid water and snow skier and loves being outdoors. He enjoys volunteering and supporting local events and organizations such as the autism walk, relay for life, child advocacy center and the heart walk to name a few. He is passionate about modern dentistry and all of the great advances that is offers.
Dr. Michael Cho
Dr. Cho received his Bachelor’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While in school and after graduation, he participated in several Mission of Mercy events to provide dental treatment to underserved patients.
He furthered his education through the General Practice Residency program at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, broadening experiences in endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Dr. Cho is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and is constantly advancing his skills and knowledge through continuing education courses.
Dr. Cho strives to provide seamless, stress-free, and respectful patient experiences. In his spare time, Dr. Cho enjoys playing tennis and learning to play golf, traveling, and watching movies.
Dr. Rachel Kaplan
Dr. Rachel Kaplan is originally from Bucks County, PA but moved to Atlanta, GA as a kid, where she lived with her family until attending the University of Georgia- go DAWGS! She graduated Summa Cum Laude from UGA in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.
In May of 2015, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
Upon graduating from dental school, she made it full circle back to Pennsylvania for her one-year General Practice Residency at WellSpan York Hospital.
Dr. Kaplan enjoys treating patients of all ages and is passionate about learning through continuing education to provide thorough and compassionate dental care for the whole family. Dr. Kaplan also speaks Spanish (although she needs some practice) and is often found singing to her patients. She really enjoys helping patients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.
Dr. Kaplan is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Past President of the York County Dental Society.
She enjoys traveling and spending downtime with her husband Matt, her son Lenny and their cat and 2 dogs!
